Connecting your channel

To run ads automatically, MangoAds publishes through a Telegram bot that you add to your channel. Setup happens on the Add new channel page (Channels → Add channel) in three steps.

Add new channel

Step 1 — Add channel details

Tell MangoAds about your channel and the terms you want.

Field
What it's for

Link

Your channel's link (e.g. https://t.me/yourchannel).

Channel name

A display name for the channel.

Category

Up to 3 categories that describe your channel. Advertisers target by category, so pick accurately.

Country

Up to 3 countries your audience is in (optional but recommended).

Language

Up to 3 languages of your channel (optional but recommended).

Banned categories

Ad categories you want to exclude.

Price per 1000 views (CPM)

The price you charge advertisers per 1,000 views.

Max ads per week

The most sponsored posts you'll allow per week.

Publication time

When ads may be published (e.g. any day/any time, or a custom window).

You'll also see an estimated post earnings figure based on your recent posts' views.

Step 2 — Create a Telegram bot

Create a bot with Telegram's @BotFather:

  1. Open @BotFather in Telegram.

  2. Send /newbot and follow the prompts to name your bot.

  3. BotFather gives you a bot token — you'll provide it to MangoAds so it can post on your behalf.

Step 3 — Add the bot to your channel

Add your new bot to the channel as an administrator with permission to post messages. This lets MangoAds publish (and later remove) sponsored posts automatically.

The bot only posts approved ads according to your rules. You stay in control of pricing, limits, blocked categories, and approvals — see How ads work on your channel and Controls.

Once the bot is connected, your channel appears in Channels and can start receiving ads.
