Moderation & editing

Moderation

Every new campaign goes through moderation before it can deliver. This checks that your ad meets the advertising policy. Once approved, your campaign starts competing in the auction and delivering to matching channels.

Channel owners can also review ads for their own channels and decline ones they don't want — so an approved ad may run in some channels and not others, depending on each owner's settings.

Review time

  • Campaigns are reviewed within 1–2 days.

  • If something needs fixing, the moderator rejects the campaign with a message describing what to change.

  • Fix the issue and resubmit — the campaign can then be approved and start delivering.

Editing a campaign

You can edit a campaign at any time, but note how it affects delivery:

Because of this, batch your changes: make all the edits you need, then save once, rather than tweaking a live campaign repeatedly.

Campaign status

In your campaigns list, each campaign shows a status such as Active or Paused. Use it to see at a glance what's delivering and what isn't.

Good practice

  • Get the ad right in the preview before submitting, to avoid re-moderation loops.

  • Keep claims accurate and the landing page consistent with the ad — this helps moderation and performance.

  • If a campaign is paused unexpectedly, check the campaign details and your balance.
