A verified support account for the official Telegram Ad Platform surfaced on August 18, 2026. Advertisers can contact @AdSupport inside Telegram with questions about ads rejected for policy violations.

The profile is named Ads Support and carries Telegram's verification badge. Telegram has not published a separate announcement about the account, but the profile is live and Telegram-focused industry sources have documented its use.

This is a new contact route for advertisers using ads.telegram.org. It is not a support inbox embedded into the Telegram Ads website, and there is no evidence that it handles general Telegram account issues.

What the new Telegram Ads support account covers

Telegram-focused news channel teleLakel reported on August 18 that @AdSupport is intended exclusively for advertisers. Its stated use case is asking questions when an advertisement has been rejected because of a violation.

That scope matters. The account may help an advertiser understand a rejection or identify what needs to change, but Telegram has not said that it will overturn moderation decisions, accelerate every review, resolve billing disputes or provide general technical support.

The official Telegram Ads documentation currently tells advertisers to open a declined ad for a detailed explanation and a link to the relevant guidelines. As of August 24, the public guide does not mention @AdSupport.

Advertisers should therefore treat the account as an additional escalation route, not as a replacement for the Telegram Ad Policies and Guidelines.

Russian-language replies have been reported

Russian Telegram Ads specialists were among the first to document the account. On August 18, media buyer Masha Smirnova reported that a practitioner had contacted the verified account in Russian and received a reply in Russian. She also said the support link was not yet visible in every ad account or alongside every rejection.

On August 19, advertising industry publication ppc.world cited Telegram Ads specialist Irina Numizmatka, who also said the account had replied in Russian. The publication contacted @AdSupport itself but reported that it had not received an answer after 40 minutes.

These reports confirm that Russian-language replies are possible, but they do not establish a guaranteed language policy or response-time standard. Telegram has not published either one.

What advertisers should include in a support request

Telegram has not released a required request format. A concise message is likely to be easier to review if it includes:

  • the affected ad title or another identifier visible in the account;
  • the exact rejection message or policy section shown by Telegram;
  • a short description of the destination used by the ad;
  • the change already made, if the ad was edited and resubmitted;
  • a screenshot that does not expose login codes, passwords or financial credentials.

Advertisers should verify that they are messaging the exact @AdSupport handle with the verification badge. The existence of an official-looking support profile can attract impersonators, especially when rejected campaigns or account funds are involved.

What remains unknown

Telegram has not disclosed when the account was created, which countries can use it, what languages it supports, how quickly it aims to respond or whether it covers topics beyond ad rejection.

There is also no public confirmation that every advertiser will see a support link in the same place. Practitioner reports suggest that availability inside the ad interface may still be uneven.

For now, the confirmed change is narrow but useful: advertisers running campaigns through the official Telegram Ad Platform have a verified Telegram contact for questions about rejected ads. Teams comparing the official platform with direct channel buying and automated networks can review MangoAds' guide to the three ways to run Telegram ads.
